More specifically, Alex Dabecki. I am a UX Designer and Psychology graduate. I grew up in Port Moody, BC, and went to UBC for undergrad. After 3 years, I received a Bachelor's in Cognitive Systems, then attended BrainStation to focus on UX/UI Design.
While there, I learned industry standard tools such as Figma, Invision, and Sketch, while refining core concepts of UX design like user research and developing prototypes. I love great design and interacting with users.
Hospitals are one of the cornerstones of modern day society, with BC having a wonderful MSP system. Patient satisfaction is lacking, however. I wanted to focus on the discomfort patients run into while waiting in hospitals, and determining whether they would benefit from an app with a waitlist and mind-wandering tasks.

The healthcare system in BC is lacking when it comes to dermatology. Everyone has skin problems, but what have we done about it? Our current society stigmatizes flaws, yet theres no system in place adequate enough to truly help people. Caderma talks about the Journey Of Imperfection, a case study of the healthcare sector in British Columbia.
